Jordan Area Community Council (JACC) seeks Administrative Development Consultant

TYPE: Part Time - Contractor

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the direction of the JACC Board of Directors, the Administrative Development Consultant is responsible for the overall daily operations, resource development, contract administration and community relations related to housing, public safety, cluster programs and outreach. Key responsibilities include writing grants and overseeing contract compliance of all funding; fundraising and developing relationships with philanthropic groups and individuals; actively engaging with other neighborhood organizations, corporate and foundation supporters, and government entities; overseeing accounting functions including budgeting, financial planning and auditing; actively engaging with the Executive Board of Directors in ongoing organizational and administrative development; and assisting in the development of current and long-term organizational goals and objectives for the organization.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's degree is an absolute must. Five years of experience and an advanced degree preferred. Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively. Additional required skills and abilities include but are not limited to experience in all facets of fundraising with a proven history of developing and maintaining relationships with the funding community; experience working with a board of directors and; experience working with residents and families from low-income communities and communities of color; and exceptional interpersonal skills. Applicants must have computer skills that include knowledge of Windows Office, Excel and QuickBooks.
