Built in 1881 by lumberman James Sargent Lane, this Marcy-Holmes neighborhood residence is a three-story Queen Anne with a yellow brick exterior, elongated windows, carved stone lintels and wooden fans over the gables. "I purchased the home in 2000 and with help from friends and family - and assistance from the NRP - I've been sprucing it up ever since," says Paul. "We've removed false walls and ceilings, scraped, sanded and painted inside and out, sanded floors, landscaped and cut and tuck-pointed the exterior brick. We're not finished yet, but I am taking a break to let my knuckles heal before resuming work on this Marcy-Holmes treasure."
