All 81 Minneapolis neighborhoods are currently participating in the NRP. Some neighborhoods have formed voluntary partnerships that result in a single NRP Neighborhood Action Plan. These partnerships mean that 66 Neighborhood Action Plans will be in place when all neighborhoods have completed their planning efforts.
Key information on each neighborhood, including Action Plan summary, neighborhood organization contacts, and neighborhood demographics.
Neighborhood Action Plans
Residents participating in the NRP use a systematic planning process to develop a Neighborhood Action Plan -- a multi-year, neighborhood-based plan that identifies the visions, goals, objectives, and strategies that will address neighborhood priorities and direct the expenditure of NRP funds. Phase II Neighborhood Action Plans
Many neighborhoods have now completed a Phase II Neighborhood Action Plan. Follow this link to take a look at some of the Neighborhood Action Plans online.
Phase I Reviews
This home received improvements through an NRP housing
program in the Logan Park neighborhood.
Neighborhood organizations participating in the NRP have been asked to conduct reviews of their Phase I Action Plans. The reviews: provide an opportunity for each neighborhood group to report back to the community about the development, goals and outcomes of the existing NRP plan; encourage neighborhood organizations to take stock of the plan'ssuccesses and failures, and the continuing challenges and opportunities that exist in the neighborhood; help NRP participants become familiar with some simple reporting standards that will be put in place for Phase II; and help us all contribute our experiences to the NRP "Story".
