Neighborhoods to Participate in Aquatennial Torch Light Parade

Nominations Sought for the 2008 Minneapolis and Saint Paul Home Tour
November 7, 2007 - NRP is currently seekng nominations for the 2008 Minneapolis and Saint Paul Home Tour. Homes on the upcoming tour will be open Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 27 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Tour will be held on these dates regardless of weather conditions. Voter's Guide for NRP Policy Board Neighborhood Reps Election is Now Available
October 5, 2007 - The NRP Neighborhood Representative Election Voter's Guide is now available. The guide lists the candidates running for a seat on the 2008 NRP Policy Board. NRP Policy Board Neighborhood Representative Election Set for November 15th
August 14, 2007 - The process for the election of neighborhood representatives and alternates for seats on the 2008 NRP Policy Board begins August 15. Minneapolis Public Schools Summer Food Service Program
July 2, 2007 - Each summer thousands of Minnesota students lose access to the free or reduced cost meals they receive during the school year. The Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) addresses this problem by providing funds for schools and other organizations to serve free, nutritious meals and snacks when school is not in session. National Night Out Planning Week June 17-24
June 15, 2007 - Every year on the first Tuesday of August, people across the country gather to celebrate National Night Out (NNO). This year on Tuesday, August 7, close to 50,000 Minneapolis residents will celebrate neighborliness, safety and stronger community. You^th Are Here Bus Routes to Debut Monday, June 18th
June 12, 2007 - Get ready to see the familiar yellow school bus in a new role this summer. Responding to youth and community concerns about safe transportation for young people wishing to attend out-of-school time programs, the Minneapolis Youth Coordinating Board is launching two You^th Are Here bus routes, one serving Near North/Camden communities and the other serving Phillips/Powderhorn communities. New Projections Released on NRP Phase II Revenue
April 17, 2007 - According to the latest available projections, NRP will not have enough funding by the end of 2009 to meet the 70% of allocations currently approved for expenditures from Phase II Neighborhood Action Plans. Last week the Development Finance Division (DFD) of the City of Minneapolis Finance Department released a memorandum to the Mayor, Members of the City Council and NRP Director Bob Miller updating their estimate of projected revenues from the Common Project.
